Abstract
This article discusses the main principles of teaching reading skills in foreign language education. Reading is a fundamental language skill that supports learners’ vocabulary development, comprehension abilities, and critical thinking. The paper highlights key principles such as integrating intensive and extensive reading, developing learners’ reading strategies, and using pre-reading, while-reading, and post-reading activities effectively.References
