Abstract

The article examines one-component sentences as a special type of syntactic constructions in the system of modern Russian language. It analyzes various approaches to defining their grammatical nature, identifies structural and semantic features, as well as their functional role in speech. Particular attention is paid to the classification of one-component sentences, including definite, indefinite, generalized, impersonal, and nominative constructions.
