Abstract
This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the strategic importance of the STEAM approach in enhancing the effectiveness of mathematics education and developing students' functional literacy. The research highlights the need to overcome the gap between traditional theoretical mathematics education and practical application, as well as the necessity to prepare students for the demands of the digital economy. The study explores the impact of STEAM education on students' cognitive development, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, and discusses the didactic models of integrating mathematical concepts with engineering design and art elements.References
