Abstract

This thesis examines ways of improving the methodology for developing students’ communicative competence in teaching Russian as a foreign language through interactive technologies. Linguistic, discourse, sociocultural, and strategic components of communicative competence are treated as an integrated system. The methodological potential of pair and group interaction, role-play, problem-based tasks, flipped classroom, digital quizzes, virtual boards, videoconferencing, and mobile learning is discussed. The study argues that the effectiveness of interactive technology depends not on the digital tool itself but on the communicative purpose of the task, its proximity to authentic speech situations, the quality of feedback, and systematic learner reflection.
