Abstract
Listening comprehension plays a fundamental role in language acquisition, serving as the foundation for communication and interaction. This article explores effective strategies for teaching listening skills and examines methods for assessing learners’ understanding. It highlights the importance of active listening, the use of authentic materials, and formative assessment techniques in improving students’ listening competence.
