EFFICIENT USE OF IRRIGATION AND PLANT PROTECTION PRODUCTS IN COTTON CULTIVATION. (2026). Yangi O’zbekistonda Tabiiy Va Ijtimoiy-Gumanitar Fanlar Respublika Ilmiy Amaliy Konferensiyasi, 4(10), 128-131. https://www.universalpublishings.com/index.php/gumanitar/article/view/21013

Abstract

The article analyzes the agrotechnical foundations of efficient use of irrigation and plant protection products in cotton cultivation. Based on scientific literature and practical experience, irrigation methods (furrow, alternate furrow, drip irrigation), irrigation norms and timings, and the integrated pest management (IPM) system against pests and diseases were comparatively reviewed. The analysis shows that the combined application of water-saving technologies and IPM principles reduces water and chemical preparation consumption while maintaining or increasing yields. The article concludes with practical recommendations for agronomists and farmers.
