Abstract
The translation of Uzbek journals into English presents numerous linguacultural challenges due to distinct differences in language structure, cultural concepts, and socio-political contexts. This paper examines challenges, focusing on culture-specific items, idiomatic expressions, and syntactic disparities, and proposes strategies for achieving culturally sensitive and accurate translations. By analyzing examples from various Uzbek journals, this thesis highlights the importance of balancing linguistic fidelity with cultural adaptation in the translation process.
