Abstract

This article discusses the issues of developing critical thinking skills in students in the process of teaching children's literature. It also discusses the essence of critical thinking, its importance in the educational process, and effective methods used in teaching children's literature. The role of methods such as question-and-answer, discussion, "Brainstorming", INSERT, cluster, and Venn diagram in the development of students' thinking is analyzed.
