Abstract
This article analyzes modern legal mechanisms for ensuring the security of international transport routes, as well as the experience of foreign countries. In particular, the legislation, institutional framework, digitization processes, and implementation of international standards in the field of transport security of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan are studied. Practical mechanisms for preventing threats related to terrorism, contraband, illegal migration, technogenic accidents, and cyber attacks on transport infrastructure are also considered.References
